Jeff Smith of the BBC talks here to Mark Sutherland about the new Radio 2 schedule – a good read.
Coachella have announced their lineup which is as ever wonderfully diverse. You won’t see Kayne West there of course. (Bob Lefsetz said that Coachella’s dirty secret is that it’s really a dance festival – same as Glastonbury really right?) The BBC have reported that Apple have cut their revenue forecast for the first time in 16 years. What?
This is a really interesting article from WIRED as to how it’s getting more and more difficult for us to live without Amazon – or more importantly escape Amazons reach.
First mention of Brexit for the year – the BBC has a microsite which is really useful, it’s constantly updated with the latest Brexit bits and bobs. This fact didn’t get pushed into the news but towards the end of November last year local councils across the UK sent letters to most small business owners informing them that they need to start prepping for whatever outcome may come to fruition. (I know this because we got one in this office!)
For the second mention of Brexit… UK residents now need to apply to remain in Germany… and so it starts!
PORK FAT IS HEALTHIER THAN KALE – I mean, it kind of is. At least.
I’ll leave you with one final piece – the weird and wonderful world of STARLITE… a bizarre chemical compound created by a hairdresser that has had scientists in a tizz since it’s invention years back. It’s bonkers, check it out here.
